My name is Tony Mumblow. Not only am I the owner of F.A.T.S. Plumbing & Gas, I am also a Master water and gas plumber of 35+ years experience.  I’ve worked in SC and GA for the past 30 years, so I am intimately familiar with the types of issues that arise in both newer and older homes in this area.

Since no two homes are identical, I like to consider myself more a plumbing artist than technician.  Many plumbing issues require flexibility in thinking and unique solutions.

That’s where I come in.

I’d like to say I’ve seen it all, but honestly, I still find juried-rigged things I haven’t seen done quite that way before.  I’ve seen illegal bypasses and duct taped valves installed by other so-called professionals.  I’ve seen homeowners’ attempts to avoid expensive repairs.

I’m creative, but I do follow the codes.  There’s a reason for them: Safety.

I do what I can to keep the cost of your repair or renovation down, but I will not cut corners where safety is concerned.  If I think you need to upgrade something for the safety of your family and home, I will not hesitate to tell you and encourage you to take the right steps.

For your convenience, I do work on a flexible schedule, and my only request is that you do me the courtesy of calling if you cannot make a scheduled appointment.  You wouldn’t like it if you were at home waiting for me and I didn’t show up, would you?  If there is a scheduling issue, just call me — we’ll work it out!
